  said the two older "sisters" at my door not more than one hour ago.. a nice conversation ensued that left them not able to answer questions, and had them falling back to the tried and true 'hovah belief that "we have the truth" b.s.. i swear that i could actually see the mental blinders closing over their eyes as i explained things they did not know.

  frustrating, yet very predictable.. they had the balls to say not to believe everything i read!

  i ask them the same question about their religion.

  NWT Bible are softer, as are the pages of the Aid Book, Make Sure...think they compost better in the outhouse too.

  Rock n Roll group blacklisted by JW's...+ question

  has been blacklisted......told by one of my jw friends on the other side of adelaide that that was said in his congregations public talk yesterday.. p.s.

  anyone know what offspring song jw's were warned against listening to???

  i vaguely remember it was on their 'smash' album (it's either the song that goes "..demons in my head.." or the one called genocide).

  Oh dear, back in the day when I was still a teenager, my roomies and I had to throw away our Earth, Wind, and Fire album - it had Egyptian hieroglyphics on it, was inviting the demons. Then about 10 years back I was playing the intro to Stairway to Heaven (beautiful music!) at some social gathering (someplace where there was a piano) and a ministerial servant told me I shouldn't be playing that music, it was a no-no, not approved for Dubs in good standing. Don't forget KISS - knights in Satan's service, for obvious reasons. IMO all non Kingdom melody music (even Beethoven) was discouraged! Broke my heart when they removed the piano from the Kingdumb Hall. Canned music...ick!

  I'll share mine with you TR. Rocky's mom has renewed our subs for the past three years without ever asking us if we wanted them. He made her made and she didn't renew his this last time, but I'm still in her good graces....at least until Dateline airs! And I know she still leaves the mags at the laundromat and county jail...I'm sure I can get my hands on extras.

  Preparation for Dateline & online interest

  dateline is just 24 hours (give or take) away.

  i really do expect to see a great deal of online activity as people search for more information.

  jwd is likely going to be one of the most visited due to the large amount of information posted here on the subject, much by silentlambs themselves.. i also expect to see people visiting randy's excellent site as well as watchtower observer for copies of documentation,news articles, etc.

  To be DF'd or not to be DF'd?

  i understand that i should be disfellowshipped for talking to apostates (fellow apostates lol) on the internet because it is a 'secret sin.

  ' but what i don't know is if i can be disfellowshipped for telling people about the dateline program, watching the dateline program, and then talking about it after the program airs...does anyone have any info on the policy and procedure for this type of behavior?.

  Yep - your picture is so much clearer now. Bill and Barbara seem to be smirking. Cool. It's great our friends could be there! We wanted to go but the airfare was such a premium. Even if we donate part of the price of tickets it would be a good chunk for silentlambs. Anything to help them keep up the good work!
